Headcorn Parish Council are very sad to hear of our beloved Queen Elizabeth II passing yesterday. She has been our Queen for 70 years and only just recently celebrated her Platinum Jubilee. She will be the only Queen in our life time and probably for many years to come. We will be placing a Condolence book in the Village Hall and some flowers in her honour at the war memorial. God Save the Queen!
Following the sad news of the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II we would announce there will be a Book of Condolence open in the foyer of the Village Hall.
The book will available between the hours of 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. from today Friday 9th September 2022 until 5 p.m. on the day before the State Funeral. However, the book will not be open at week-ends, unless by prior arrangement.
