Stuart has served Headcorn’s Community as their Community Warden for Kent County Council since 2012 and has built up relevant Community Networks and Support throughout this period, prioritising the vulnerable, elderly and isolated individuals. Previous to this, Stuart has also had experience with working in the Youth Offending service, Supported housing for young people aged 16+, Young persons Drug and Alcohol services and Residential Children’s care homes.
Stuart was employed directly by Headcorn Parish Council as our dedicated Community Liaison Officer in March 2024.
Stuart liaises daily with external partners such as Maidstone Borough Council, Kent Police, Social Services and many more to achieve positive outcomes for Headcorn’s residents.
Stuart lives in Maidstone with his Wife and Family. Stuart’s interests include Art and Photography, (Holds a BA Hons in Art) Music, History & technology. He also is an avid Maidstone United supporter and enjoys distance running on a weekly basis. Stuart also has a passion for Networking.
Stuart has also recently discovered that he has family links dating back nearly two centuries ago to the Headcorn area and surrounding villages & after finding this out ‘Headcorn feels like a second home’ when he arrives for work.
